The Special Needs section is for creatures that had accidents in the kiln. Sometimes these can be fixed, sometimes they can't. They are too special to toss in the bin, so I have this special needs section. It felt like the special needs and elders we take on here at our animal sanctuary-all deserve our love even if damaged.

Little donkey loves apples and his special apple tree. But he kept falling out and hurting his leg. They told him someday he would really hurt his leg if he kept climbing that tree, and one day, he broke his leg. Nobody could help him. But he kept eating apples and somehow still climbs that tree now that his wound has healed.
