With Old Apple looking on, Ruthie stands near the grave of White Dog who we lost to bone cancer. Ruthie the turkey lived in the barn with everyone, and while White Dog was in charge of the barn, they had a respectful relationship. The barn is now filled with White Dog, his spirit was and is strong. I often see Ruthie looking up at the rafters...they see and feel so much.
