The World's Grumpiest But I'm Fine As I Am Pig, aka Rosie, came to Apifera after her elderly owner died. From the start, Rosie was grumpy, we were told this when we adopted her, and well, they were right. Rosie has a spirit of her own and remained grumpy just about everyday, but she felt at peace with herself, she did not need to conform to anyone, and we let her be. She is very old now, and crippled, and blind, and she came with us to Maine and is entering her final time on earth just as she has lived...somewhat grumpily. She is her own pig. We love her. I did this piece years ago, but I like to think of her this way, floating, a slight smile as she dreams of...who knows what.
